Introducing the multi-purpose 5mm garage floor tile, a light-duty tile with a studded anti-slip surface. The 5mm tile is an effective way to improve your garage, enhance your DIY workshop or create a home gym. Converting your garage into a games room, home theatre or a chill-out area? The 505mm x 505mm jigsaw-style interlocking tile allows easy installation with minimum preparation and no previous floor laying experience. Install by lightly tapping the tiles together over any hard surface, without adhesives or special equipment.
No ramps are required around walls or entrances, however you can use any suitable transition or diminishing strip if preferred.

Important Information
Do not attempt to use these tiles outdoors. If areas of your floor are exposed to direct sunlight or fluctuating temperatures adhesive may be required. Call us if you are not sure about your application.
For orders over 15m² your tiles will be shipped on a pallet. If access to your property is restricted (narrow lane, gravel driveway etc.) please let us know so that we can advise the transport company.
It is possible that certain rubber tyres and wheels may stain the tile (and many other types of flooring). This is a result of a chemical reaction that occurs between the anti-oxidant that is used in some rubbers and the plasticizer used in vinyl. The stain/reaction is brown in colour so is less visible in certain colours of tile (dark grey, graphite and black). Unfortunately, this is a problem that the flooring industry can not solve as it requires the tyre industry to make tyres without the use of these chemicals. Because we know the problem is random and we are unable to fully prevent these occasions, GFTC makes no warranties as to potential tyre staining and will not be held liable for any claims made where tyre staining occurs.

How To Install
Garage Floor Tile Company’s tiles are easy to install yourself. All that is required is a rubber mallet, measuring equipment and something to cut the tiles with.
Make sure to leave the tiles in the space you are installing them in for 24 hours before you begin putting them down to allow them to acclimatise.
Sweep the floor to make sure there is no debris beforehand. There is no other preparation needed.Make sure you measure accurately with a tape measure before beginning to make sure of the best fit. Leave a 10mm gap between the tiles and walls to allow for heat expansion.
